Fall for DC at the President’s Welcome Reception, an autumn-themed celebration that will kick off the 2023 National Conference! Enjoy complimentary food and beverages, and dance the night away to the music of a live band. Get energized for four days in Washington, DC! All conference attendees are welcome, and everyone must have a badge to enter.
Connect and network with leaders and colleagues from your local AAP District. Look out for district number signs scattered throughout the reception space.

Join us for our annual Community Cares project and make a difference in the lives of children growing up in Washington, DC’s most under-resourced communities. This year’s project will benefit Horton’s Kids, a nonprofit that provides resources to help children graduate from high school prepared for success in college, career, and life. Conference attendees and families will assemble kits that include cleaning supplies and toiletries to help relieve families’ financial burdens.
