A: Your email confirmation is your receipt for payment.
Q: Do I need to bring anything with me to print my badge onsite?
A: Approximately 2 weeks before the conference, you will receive a registration email that contains an important barcode that will be used for printing your badge(s) and any applicable tickets onsite. Make sure to print and bring that page with you or have the barcode ready on your mobile device.
Q: Can I register for the meeting onsite?
A: Yes, please visit the Registration Desk located in Hall C of the Orange County Convention Center during the noted above onsite registration hours.
Q: Can I attend for one day only?
A: Yes. The one-day registration fee entitles you to attend that day’s activities only.
Q: What is the AAP 2018 National Conference & Exhibition Cancellation Policy?
A: All registration changes/cancellations must be sent in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by September 21, 2018. You may also fax your request to 847-228-5059. All cancellation requests received by September 21, will receive a refund less a $50 administrative fee. After September 21, all catered events, courses, registration, special events and workshop fees are nonrefundable (no exceptions). Name changes are not permitted, and badges are non-transferable.
Q: Where are the conference sessions, workshops and committee meetings being held?
A: The Orange County Convention Center and Hyatt Regency Orlando (headquarter hotel).
Q: Can I register for a workshop onsite?
A: Workshops typically sell out in advance of the conference. You may visit the registration desk to inquire about availability.
Q: Where can I find the start time and location for each session?
A: Visit the Conference Schedule to view all sessions, special events and meeting details. Coming in October, the 2018 National Conference Mobile App will be available. You can download the mobile app by searching for ‘AAP National Conference’ in the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.
Q: What kind of translation arrangements are available?
A: The 2018 National Conference will include over 35 simultaneous Spanish/English interpreted sessions focused on the health of children around the globe. There will be a help desk outside the session room where you can pick up a headset for live translation. See here for the full list of sessions that offer simultaneous Spanish/English interpretation.

Q: Will there be a Nursing Room available?
A: A Lactation Lounge is available in the convention center and open daily. The complimentary lounge will offer Symphony™ hospital-grade pumps and kits, refrigerated milk storage, and other equipment for each mother in a comfortable and private setting. Please check available hours here.

Q: Where can I find First Aid?
A: Medical staff will be located in Medical Room #3 at the convention center during conference hours. In the event of an emergency, and you are at the Hyatt Regency Orlando please contact the security dispatcher at the nearest house phone by dialing extension 77 or Guest Request Operator, extension 54444.
Q: Domestic air travel is changing. Am I compliant?
A: Travelers can check DHS’s REAL ID webpage at any time to learn if your state is compliant and can check with your state’s agency that issues driver’s licenses about how to acquire a compliant license. The earlier your state becomes compliant, the more likely you will be able to acquire a compliant license as part of the normal renewal cycle.
Q: How do I get from my hotel to the convention center?
A: Shuttle bus transportation is provided from all official conference hotels that are not considered walking distance to Orange County Convention Center West. Shuttle service is also provided for the President’s Welcome Reception, Orlando Experience! at Universal’s Islands of Adventure™, and the Friends of Children Fund 5K Fun Run & Walk. Q: Are there any meals included in my registration?
A: Food and drink will be provided at both the President’s Welcome Reception and the Kids’ Camp on Friday, November 2nd.

A: Any items that are turned in will be kept at the info booth in the convention center.

A: Yes, the 2018 National Conference Mobile App will be available in October 2018.
