A: Yes, please visit the Registration Desk located in Connections Corner of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center during the noted above onsite registration hours.
Q: Can I attend for one day only?
A: Yes. The one-day registration fee entitles you to attend that day’s activities only.
Q: Where are the conference sessions, workshops and committee meetings being held?
A: The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and Hilton New Orleans Riverside (headquarters hotel).
Q: Can I register for a workshop onsite?
A: Workshops typically sell out in advance of the conference. You may visit the registration desk to inquire about availability.
Q: Where can I find the start time and location for each session?
A: Visit the Conference Schedule to view all sessions, special events and meeting details. Coming in October, the 2019 Conference App will be available for registered attendees.
Q: What kind of translation arrangements are available?
A: The 2019 National Conference will include over 35 simultaneous Spanish/English interpreted sessions focused on the health of children around the globe. There will be a help desk outside the session room where you can pick up a headset for live translation. See here for the full list of sessions that offer simultaneous Spanish/English interpretation.
Q: Are child care services available?
A: On-site child care is available and will be located at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Please click here for more information.
Q: Will there be a Nursing Room available?
A: A Lactation Lounge is available in the convention center and open daily. The complimentary lounge will offer hospital-grade pumps, refrigerated milk storage, and other equipment for each mother in a comfortable and private setting. Please check available hours here.
Q: Will I be able to rent a scooter?
A: Yes. Please click here to book your scooter. Once you arrive onsite, please visit the Scooter Rental booth in Conference Services in Connections Corner at the convention center.
Q: How do I schedule Accessible Transportation?
A: To schedule accessible transportation at the National Conference, please contact Josh McIntyre at email@example.com or 305-433-1160.
Q: Where can I find First Aid?
A: Medical staff will be located in EMS Office 1, in Lobby A and EMS Office 2, in Lobby F at the convention center during conference hours. In the event of an emergency, and you are at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside please contact the security dispatcher at the nearest house phone by dialing extension 55.

Q: How do I get from my hotel to the convention center?
A: Shuttle bus transportation is provided from all official conference hotels that are not considered walking distance to Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Shuttle service is also provided for the Kids’ Camp, President’s Welcome Reception, New Orleans Experience! at The National World War II Museum. A detailed shuttle schedule will be posted at a later date. To find out if your hotel is considered within walking distance see here.
Q: Are there any meals included in my registration?
A: Food and drink will be provided at both the President’s Welcome Reception and the Kids’ Camp on Friday, October 25th. There will also be appetizers and drinks available at the New Orleans Experience! at The National World War II Museum.
Q: Where is the Lost and Found located?
A: Any items that are turned in will be kept at the info booth in the convention center.
Q: Does the 2019 NCE have a mobile app?
A: Yes, the 2019 National Conference Mobile App is now available. Please follow the instructions below to download.
